Announcer Manager is an audio pack manager for Unity. The most common use would be to manage voice packs (Players, NPC, Announcers, etc), but it is not limited to voices. It has been used to manage environmental audio, soundtracks and more. Essentially, it can handle all of your event based audio needs.
Each audio file in your pack is an announcement. The Announcer Manager plays announcements via events. Events can be any moment in the game such as a headshot in an FPS, the arrival of the mega boss or the conversational lines of the blacksmith in your dungeon crawler. You can have multiple announcements per event, giving you diversity of responses each time the event is played.
Events are organized in packs. A pack is generally organized by a theme. For example, you could create packs for male, female and alien voices that are used based on player choices. Packs can be switched easily at runtime with our well documented API. You can create packs for your own games and buy/sell packs in the asset store. Check below for a list of compatible packs!
